B:MIX Sporting Regulations
The sporting regulations governing B:MIX championship events.
These Sporting Regulations govern participation in B:MIX championship events. By entering a B:MIX event, Drivers agree to compete in accordance with the current published regulations and the B:MIX Code of Conduct.
Regulations Index
Championship format
A B:MIX season consists of eight weekly championship rounds followed by a four-week break.
A Driver's best six results from the eight rounds count towards their final championship score.
There is no minimum number of rounds a Driver must contest.
Race when you can. Miss when you can't.
Driver eligibility
B:MIX is open to Drivers of all GT7 Driver Rating (DR) and Sportsmanship Rating (SR) levels. There is no minimum DR or SR requirement.
To enter an event, a Driver must have:
- an active B:MIX Driver account;
- a current verified PlayStation Network Online ID; and
- accepted the current B:MIX regulations.
Each B:MIX Driver may have one current verified PSN Online ID associated with their Driver identity.
Weekly event entry
Participation is event-by-event. Entering one round does not commit a Driver to subsequent rounds.
Entries are accepted during the published entry window for each event.
Event capacity is determined by the number of available Approved Hosts. Each active lobby supports up to 16 Drivers.
Where entries exceed available capacity, additional Drivers are placed into the reserve queue.
Withdrawals and reserves
Drivers may withdraw from an event while the published entry window remains open.
Reserve priority is first-come, first-served.
If confirmed capacity becomes available, active reserves are promoted in first-come order.
A Driver who withdraws and subsequently re-enters during the entry window receives a new entry timestamp. Their previous reserve priority is not retained.
After the normal entry or withdrawal window has closed, any late reserve opportunity offered by B:MIX must be accepted by the Driver before the seat is confirmed.
Check-in
Confirmed Drivers must check in during the published check-in window for each event.
Check-in opening and closing times are event-specific and will be shown by B:MIX.
A confirmed Driver who has not checked in when the published check-in window closes will lose their confirmed seat for that event. The released seat may then be offered to the next eligible reserve. Missing check-in does not itself impose a championship-points penalty.
Lobby allocation
B:MIX may operate multiple colour lobbies where participation requires more than one race lobby.
All B:MIX colour lobbies have equal championship status.
There is no primary, secondary or lower-value championship lobby. The same finishing-position points are available in every lobby.
Drivers are allocated using the B:MIX performance rating and balancing system. New Drivers may initially be seeded using their GT7 Driver Rating.
GT7 Sportsmanship Rating may be recorded but is not used as a performance-seeding value.
Published lobby allocations must be followed unless B:MIX Race Control issues a revised allocation.
Race format
B:MIX retains the circuit and layout used by the corresponding GT7 Daily Race B and remixes the event into a longer, strategy-led community race.
The normal target race duration is approximately 40 minutes.
Each lobby has a 10-minute qualifying session before the race.
The detailed event specification, including lap count, tyre settings, fuel consumption and tyre wear multipliers, will be published for each round.
Car category and Balance of Performance
B:MIX normally inverts the category used by the corresponding Daily Race B:
- where Daily Race B uses Gr.3, B:MIX normally uses Gr.4;
- where Daily Race B uses Gr.4, B:MIX normally uses Gr.3.
The published B:MIX event specification is authoritative for each round.
GT7 Balance of Performance (BoP) is used.
Drivers may use any eligible car permitted by the event specification.
Vehicle tuning is prohibited except for adjustments expressly permitted by B:MIX. Brake Balance may be adjusted where the event configuration allows it.
Tyres and weather
B:MIX normally uses two adjacent dry tyre compounds.
The default combination is Racing Hard and Racing Medium. Racing Medium and Racing Soft may be used where appropriate for the event.
There is no mandatory dry tyre compound unless the published event specification expressly states otherwise.
Wet-weather tyres may be available where appropriate to the Daily Race B circuit and event configuration.
Dynamic weather is not part of the initial B:MIX championship format unless specifically introduced in a published event specification.
Race settings
Where practical and reproducible, B:MIX inherits relevant settings from the corresponding GT7 Daily Race B.
B:MIX-specific settings override the Daily Race B configuration where required to create the longer strategy-led format.
The event specification published by B:MIX is the authoritative configuration for that round.
Championship points
Championship points are awarded independently in every equal-status lobby as follows:
| Position | Points |
|---|---|
| P1 | 100 |
| P2 | 85 |
| P3 | 75 |
| P4 | 65 |
| P5 | 56 |
| P6 | 49 |
| P7 | 43 |
| P8 | 37 |
| P9 | 32 |
| P10 | 27 |
| P11 | 22 |
| P12 | 18 |
| P13 | 14 |
| P14 | 10 |
| P15 | 7 |
| P16 | 5 |
Pole position earns an additional 2 championship points.
Fastest lap does not award championship points.
Classification and DNF
A Driver must complete at least 75% of the applicable race distance to be eligible for championship points.
A classified Driver below the 75% threshold receives zero championship points, including zero pole-position bonus points where applicable.
Individual disconnections are normally treated as a DNF and classified according to the applicable result and classification rules.
Restarts and major lobby failures
An individual Driver disconnection does not normally cause a race restart.
Where a failure affects multiple Drivers or the integrity of the lobby, the incident is escalated to B:MIX Race Control.
An early restart may be authorised where Race Control determines that the circumstances justify it.
Race Control's instruction is authoritative for the affected lobby.
Results
Race results are initially published as Provisional Results.
A Provisional Result may be amended following verification, incident review or the application of penalties.
Results become final after the applicable incident and stewarding process has concluded.
B:MIX preserves revision and audit history when published results are amended.
Incidents, stewarding and penalties
Drivers may raise eligible racing incidents during the published incident window.
B:MIX Stewards review submitted incidents and may apply penalties where appropriate.
Penalties are applied through the official B:MIX result process and may alter the final classification and championship points.
Detailed standards of driving behaviour and participant conduct are set out in the B:MIX Code of Conduct.
Championship standings
A Driver's best six championship results from the eight-round season count towards their championship total.
Where a Driver contests six or fewer rounds, all of their available results count.
Where a Driver contests more than six rounds, only their six highest-scoring results count.
Championship ties
If Drivers are tied on championship points after application of the Best-6 system, the tie is resolved in the following order:
- most race wins;
- most second-place finishes;
- most third-place finishes, continuing through subsequent finishing positions as required;
- most pole positions;
- the superior most-recent counting result.
Only results relevant to the championship calculation are considered where the tie-break requires counting results.
Hosts and Race Control
B:MIX events are operated by Approved Hosts, Deputies and Race Control.
Hosts are responsible for creating and operating their assigned GT7 lobby in accordance with the published event specification and B:MIX Host workflow.
Drivers must join the lobby to which they have been allocated and follow reasonable operational instructions issued by their Host, Deputy or Race Control.
Race Control may make audited operational changes where required to protect the integrity or continuity of an event.
Regulations and amendments
The current published revision of these Sporting Regulations is the authoritative version.
B:MIX retains the publication history of superseded regulations.
Where a new regulation revision requires renewed acceptance for event eligibility, Drivers must accept that revision before entering a subsequent affected event.
Material event-specific requirements will be published through the relevant B:MIX event information.
B:MIX may amend these regulations where required for sporting, technical or operational reasons. Changes will be published through the B:MIX regulations revision system.
