About B:MIX
What B:MIX is, where it came from and answers to the most common questions.
B:MIX is a community racing championship built around a simple idea: take Gran Turismo 7's Daily Race B and remix it.
Each B:MIX round keeps the circuit and layout of that week's Daily Race B, then transforms the format into a longer, strategy-led community race.
The result is familiar enough to jump straight into, but different enough to create a completely new challenge.
B:MIX is designed around competitive racing, accessible participation and a race-night experience that feels like a proper championship.

The Origin
Rad vs Onions
Two Drivers.
One Idea.
Where did B:MIX come from?
B:MIX grew out of Rad vs Onions.
What began as a weekly head-to-head rivalry between RadionUK and I Love Onions developed into something bigger. Rather than simply running another season of two Drivers racing each other week after week, the idea was opened up to the communities around them.
That idea became B:MIX.
Rad vs Onions is part of the history of B:MIX, but B:MIX is now its own championship, its own community and its own platform.
That idea became B:MIX.
The Remix
What makes
B:MIX different?
B:MIX starts with the week's GT7 Daily Race B and changes the challenge.
Where appropriate, the car class is inverted between Gr.3 and Gr.4. Race distance is extended to around 40 minutes. Tyre and fuel settings are calibrated to introduce meaningful strategy, while the underlying circuit remains familiar to anyone who has been racing Daily B during the week.
Every active B:MIX lobby has equal sporting status. There is no first lobby, second lobby or lower-tier championship.
Drivers race the people in their allocated lobby for the same championship points.

Questions

FAQ 01
Who can race?
B:MIX is intended to be open to Drivers across the community.
There is no minimum GT7 Driver Rating or Sportsmanship Rating required to enter.
You need an active B:MIX Driver account, a verified PSN Online ID and acceptance of the current B:MIX Sporting Regulations and Code of Conduct.
Available race seats depend on the number of approved Hosts available for that round.
FAQ 02
Do I have to race every week?
No.
B:MIX is designed so that real life can come first.
A championship season contains eight weekly rounds, with each Driver's best six results counting towards their championship total.
Enter the rounds you can race. Skip the ones you can't.
There is no minimum number of rounds you must complete.
FAQ 03
How are lobbies allocated?
B:MIX uses its own internal performance rating to help create balanced colour lobbies.
New Drivers can be provisionally seeded using their GT7 Driver Rating. As B:MIX results accumulate, the B:MIX performance system becomes the more meaningful measure of their championship performance.
All colour lobbies remain equal-status B:MIX races and use the same championship points structure.
FAQ 04
What happens on race night?
Before the event, entered Drivers use My B:MIX to see their race status and complete check-in when it opens.
Once allocations are published, Drivers can see the information they need for their assigned lobby.
Each lobby is run by an approved B:MIX Host, supported by Race Control.
A normal B:MIX event includes a 10-minute qualifying session followed by a race of approximately 40 minutes.
Results are initially provisional while required verification and stewarding takes place. Once that process is complete, the round is finalised and championship standings are updated.
FAQ 05
What happens if a race is full?
Capacity is determined by the number of active lobbies available for that round.
When all confirmed race seats are filled, additional entries join the reserve list in entry order.
If a confirmed seat becomes available, it can be offered to the next eligible reserve.
FAQ 06
What if I disconnect?
An individual disconnection will normally result in a DNF.
Championship points eligibility for a DNF depends on the race-distance threshold defined in the Sporting Regulations.
If a wider technical failure affects multiple Drivers or an entire lobby, Race Control will determine the appropriate response.
FAQ 07
Do I need Discord?
No.
Discord can be useful for the community around B:MIX, but it is not required to have a B:MIX account or compete in the championship.
B:MIX is designed as a standalone web-based motorsport platform rather than a championship that depends on membership of a particular Discord server.
FAQ 08
Is B:MIX part of Gran Turismo or PlayStation?
No.
B:MIX is an independent community racing championship and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Polyphony Digital or the Gran Turismo franchise.
Gran Turismo and PlayStation names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
FAQ 09
Where are the full rules?
The Sporting Regulations contain the detailed championship and event rules.
The Code of Conduct sets out the standards of racing, sportsmanship and participant behaviour expected throughout B:MIX.
Both are published on the B:MIX platform, and the exact versions a Driver accepts are recorded as part of their eligibility.
FAQ 10
Where can I get help?
Race-specific information and required actions are shown through My B:MIX.
For questions that are not answered by the platform, Sporting Regulations or Code of Conduct, use the B:MIX community support channels.
